Acquired by Betsson in 2020, Rizk, recognized for its enjoyable and interactive platform, has proven to be a triumph. This move into the Serbian market is part of Betsson’s broader plan to enter emerging markets, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe where they have witnessed significant expansion.
Their ambitions don’t end there! Betsson has also joined forces with Bethard, another prominent name in the online gaming industry. This collaboration means Betsson will become the primary provider of sports wagering services for Bethard in crucial markets such as Sweden, Ireland, and Malta, thereby reaching an even wider audience.
Jesper Svensson, the Chief Operating Officer of Betsson, conveyed his satisfaction at being selected as the leading sportsbook supplier for Bethard. He stressed that this collaboration demonstrates their mutual dedication to providing an outstanding customer journey and engaging wagering options throughout their markets.
Frank Heinänen, who holds the position of CEO at Bethard, further noted that Betsson was the clear frontrunner when they aimed to enhance their sports betting offerings. He emphasized their belief in Betsson’s capacity to assist them in reaching new levels of success within the sector.
