The FireKeepers Casino Hotel, a Native American-owned establishment in Michigan, has joined forces with Scientific Games to introduce online casino and digital sports wagering to the state.
Since its inauguration in 2009, FireKeepers Casino Hotel has transformed into one of the largest tribal gaming ventures in the United States. Last year, they introduced their retail sports betting operation through a partnership with Scientific Games.
The agreement, which involves Scientific Games providing operators with their technology for online gambling and retail sports betting, was initially signed in January 2020.
Now, Scientific Games will furnish the operator with their complete suite of digital technology, encompassing their in-house gaming content delivered through their OpenGaming system.
In addition to their array of online casino content, FireKeepers patrons can also place bets on sporting events through Scientific Games’ OpenSports platform. The vendor asserts that this platform witnessed record engagement during significant global sporting events in 2021.
